San Marco Ambient SPA

The San Marco Ambient SPA was created to complement this rhythm: a wellness area designed for those who want to truly unwind, amidst warmth, steam and the silence of the Modena Apennines.

The wellness programme

After enjoying all the wonderful outdoor activities the area has to offer, it will be even more lovely to relax and recharge your batteries.

The price for a 1.5-hour wellness programme (€35 per person) includes:

Finnish sauna

Dry heat up to 90°C, the scent of wood, and a slowing of the breath. The Finnish sauna is the heart of the San Marco Ambient SPA: just a few minutes are enough to release muscle tension and rediscover a sense of lightness that lasts for hours.

Turkish bath

The moist steam of the Turkish bath opens the pores, relaxes the muscles and prepares the skin to benefit fully from any subsequent treatment. A timeless wellness classic, truly irreplaceable.

Sensory shower

Cold, warm, tropical: the sensory shower accompanies every stage of the spa experience, stimulating circulation and enhancing the benefits of the sauna and steam room.

Hot tub

Targeted water jets, hot water, total relaxation. The hot tub is the moment when the body stops resisting and lets itself go.

Relaxation area and herbal tea corner

After the heat, silence. The relaxation area is designed to prolong your sense of well-being at a leisurely pace: loungers, soft lighting, controlled temperature. No background noise. Just the pleasure of doing nothing.

Please note: You must book a time slot for access to our spa by calling the reception at the Hotel San Marco.

Our reception number is 0536 62330.

If the time slot is NOT booked in advance by the guest over the phone, any remaining available time slots will be offered at check-in (subject to availability at the time).

If all time slots are fully booked and the customer has not checked availability before booking a slot by telephone, the service will still be deemed to have been used, and no refund will be given for the unused SPA service.

The treatments

San Marco Ambient SPA offers more than just water treatments. For those who wish to go further, we offer a selection of wellness treatments designed for both body and mind: tension-relieving massages, relaxation rituals, exfoliating treatments and personalised programmes on request.

Each treatment can be booked separately or as part of one of our spa packages.

Superb experience

We recently stayed at Hotel San Marco for 2 nights. The hotel is closely located to the bus station and surrounding shops/restaurants. Reception was lovely and spoke English very well. Upon arrival, check in was fast and our room was ready with all our request met. Room itself had a lovely view of Sestola and the bathroom was very clean & full equipped. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and they provided a shuttle service to drove us to and from the ski site. On many occasions, hotel staff went out of their way to help us plan our vacation. We will definitely be coming back to stay at Hotel San Marco.
